Prime Number Capital is looking for an Equity Research Analyst to join our Research team.

Equity Research Analyst is responsible for creating/maintaining detailed financial models, writing company notes and reports, performing competitive analysis of the sector, tracking industry news, analyzing macro-economic parameters, and other performing/maintenance activities like quarterly earnings updates, database management, etc. 

Responsibilities include and are not limited to: 

• Creating detailed financial modeling – historical and forecasts 

• Conducting company valuation involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, Trading and transaction multiples, EVA, etc. 

• Report-writing including company profiles, earning notes, quarterly updates, initiating coverage reports, sector reports, newsletters technology primers, Theme-based reports etc. 

• Conducting real-time earnings support 

• Handling ad-hoc research requests as per client requirements 

• Collecting relevant financial data using websites and other secondary sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters and other databases

Requirements：

• Strong skills in financial analysis and report writing 

• Ability to understand and analyze industry and company trends and form investment arguments 

• Related work or strong internship experience 

• Excellent communication skills

• Exceptional analytical skills and proven ability to dissect financial statements

• Ability to collaborate as well as work independently

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• CFA level II or above is required

• Language: English/Chinese

Preferred Requirements: 

• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VBA, Python Skills

• Capital markets experience 

• Finra SIE, series 86 and 87 licenses preferred

• Knowledge of database tools – Bloomberg, Reuters and other financial database systems
